After waiting in line for 30 minutes an African American woman (who looks like she just got done shooting up in the back room) insisted it was policy to make you wait until everyone else has been helped before they would process a loan for you. They take too long, she's says. i had to wait another 20 minutes while she helped 2 other people only to be asked to wait again when more people walked in off the street. I asked how long this would go on and she said, we'll see. You'll recognize her right away if you go have to go there. She's the only one who looks like she just woke up and dug through her dirty clothes bin to find something to wear. They must not have any mirrors behind there either because her hair was completely unkempt. Up until then i have gone there a few times to get money orders, payday loans, pay bills, get phone cards, etc... I will never go to that money mart/western union as long as she is working there. Now i go 4 blocks west on Madison to Ace Checks Cashed

Of the few places I have had to cash a check at on a weekend, this is the best. I've never encountered a long line and they provide a number of services, including payday loans, tax returns and western union transfers. They also have a great rate on pre-paid non-personalised visa cards, which I've found are a safer way to shop on the Internet.

This place is your usual check cashing/loan/wire transfer/money order establishment. In my 8 years in Seattle I have used this particular business for either cashing a check because my bank was closed, or I had to send or receive money through Western Union for an emergency situation. The employees have always been nice and the location is perfect for me, personally speaking. They have parking available as well.
