Rosebud Restaurant & Bar has been a favorite of mine for a number of years. I "discovered" it in 2002 when on a hunt for a good, value-oriented weekend brunch spot. Well, the French Toast at brunch captivated me and soon I was inviting friends and clients to join me for dinner. The portions are just right--Euro-styled. The menu fare, creative and tasty. And the wine selections are far ranging. If you haven't tried this little jewel -- do so. Because of the economy, Rosebud is posting some incredible specials during the week.

Pros: Love the wait staff, decor and intimacy

Cons: What are the drawbacks?

I have been coming to Rosebud for years mostly for drinks in the bar. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I've eaten their a couple of times and the brunch is always wonderful but the dinner menu has been a miss for awhile. I heard about the new kitchen staff and menu and decided to give it another try. It has taken a huge turn for the better!!!! They have really stepped it up with the new menu and with more vegetarian options! My only complaint is with the crappy glassware. I dine out alot and I dont understand why a nice restaurant with a menu of this level would serve wine out of diner libby glassware. bleh! Any respectable seattle restaurant serves out of riedel or spiegelau or anything but libby. Please consider stepping it up to meet with the great new menu!

Pros: great food and service!

Cons: poor wine glassware
